This is the one event during the year where all our participants in the After School Art program come together in one place. Budding artists from around the island get to meet each other and have a great time. Friends and family members are welcome to enjoy water slides, a display of children's art, more art projects, and good healthy food. A wonderful community event!

In a tradition begun in 1960 by Museum founder Julia Wichman, the Kaua‘i Museum offers this extraordinary opportunity in an effort to encourage and acknowledge the creative and artistic talents of Kaua‘i's young people. This year 16 children from Circles of Light's After School Art programs submitted work to this annual show open to children of all ages. Judges award ribbons in the categories of two-dimensional work, three-dimensional work and photography. One of our 6-year-old budding artists won a Director's Choice ribbon and all entrants had their work displayed in the show.
